OUGD601 Revisited Colour Theory

Having already looked into colour theory, chosing the colour scheme for the publication should be very simple to do. Both of the below colours are generally thought of as symbolising boys and girls. This is a stereotype that isn't true, however most products are gendered by using these colour schemes. For this reason, I think it would be really interesting to see what happens when the colours are combined, and what mixed colour symbolises.

Pink: The colour pink shares all qualities from the colours white and red. Red represents boldness, caring and lust, while white represents success and insight.
Blue: The colour blue symbolises depth, stability, trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence and intelligence.

Purple: combined the stability of blue and the energy of red. It symbolises power and ambition. It's associated with wisdom, dignity, creativity and independence.

This ideology is perfect for the publication that I am going to create, as it basically represents every aspect and quality that a person following the rules of the publication would portray.
